The 2014 NBA Draft will be a historic one for Canadian basketball, with as many as seven players from Canada - three of them as high as the first round - possibly selected. In the days leading up to the draft, TSN.ca and TSN Radio basketball analyst Duane Watson looks at some of the names that will be headlining the event. Watch the 2014 NBA Draft on TSN, Thursday at 7pm et/4pm pt. Name: Tyler EnnisFrom: Brampton, OntarioPlayed: Syracuse University Height: 62Weight: 180 Position: Point Guard2013-2014 Stats: 12.9 points, 5.5 assists, 2.1 steals Breakout Game: 14 points, 9 assists in win vs. Duke Feb 1st.Accolades: 2013 - 14 All-ACC Defensive team, Second team All-ACC, finished amongst 10 finalists for Naismith Player of the Year voting. Draft Projection: Mid-late first round.Comparable NBA player: Jrue Holiday While all attention was focused on the impact Andrew Wiggins would make in his first season as a one-and-done player, Tyler Ennis quietly and confidently did the same. Maturity and poise are two things consistently said about Ennis, and with good reason. As a freshman the 62 Brampton, Ontario native expertly and efficiently lead the Orange to a 28-6 record and a No. 1 ranking in the country. The only person who wasnt surprised by Ennis breakout season was Ennis. It wasnt a case of over confidence, but merely confidence. His assuredness in his abilities and talents is what kept him cool in late game situations, where he able to make clutch plays or scoring game-winning baskets. A point guard in every sense of the term, he looks for his teammates first and creates opportunities for them - yet is still able to find his own shot when necessary, keeping defenses honest. For a 19-year-old, he plays a very cerebral game. Taking care of the basketball, he averaged a miserly 1.7 turnovers, reads the floor very well and knows when to pass or make the play himself. Ennis doesnt shy away from the moment, and has a quick enough first step to get to the basket and possess a reliable jumper with good range. He is a legitimate triple threat with a competitive spirit. His strength and explosiveness are questionable, yet strength is always a concern for many collegians moving to the next level. He isnt the quickest point guard, but makes up for lack of speed in a number of different areas. Defensively, he will have to grow as he has had the luxury of sitting in Jim Boeheims zone defense, picking passing lanes and not facing one-on-one match-ups, that he will see in the pros. Ennis has slipped out of the lottery, yet is still the best point guard in the draft. He has the poise and skill set to step into a starting situation right now in the NBA and run an offense, not just getting by on his physical gifts. Ennis again is seemingly flying under the radar, with the entire attention on other one-and-done prospects, with good reason. There is no doubt or wonder in what you will get, which is why he will make the jump to the next level. For Ennis, the belief in himself wouldnt let him do otherwise. Cheap NFL Jerseys 2020 . Vonn had another scary moment at Saturdays World Cup downhill in Val dIsere, ending up clutching her knee in pain after losing her balance and missing a gate. But she gave a reassuring answer shortly afterward, saying no new damage had been done to the surgically repaired knee, and that her plans for the Sochi Olympics were still intact. Wholesale Jerseys Review . And former Maple Leafs coach Ron Wilson certainly knows his pain. "Its pretty hard to coach there without allowing some of these things to kind of affect you," Wilson told TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun in his ESPN. https://www.wholesalejerseysreview.com/. -- Henry Josey watched helplessly from the sideline last fall, rehabbing from a serious knee injury, while Missouri was getting pushed around in its first SEC season. Wholesale Jerseys 2020 . Clevelands manager had just watched his team lose 5-3 to Kansas City, which completed a 2-6 homestand and dropped the Indians 2 1/2 games behind Detroit in the AL Central. China Jerseys 2020 .com) - Nate Buss 3-pointer with 5.GLENDALE, Ariz. - When most of the world expected Marshawn Lynch to get the ball, Russell Wilson saw a formation that made passing from the 1 the right call for the Seattle Seahawks with the Super Bowl on the line.It didnt work.Malcolm Butler stepped in front of Wilsons pass intended for Ricardo Lockette and made his first career interception to seal the New England Patriots 28-24 win over the Seahawks on Sunday.I dont know what I could have done differently, Wilson said. I put the blame on me. Im the one that gave him the ball.Wilson twice rallied the Seahawks (14-5) from deficits in the first half and his 3-yard touchdown pass to Doug Baldwin gave Seattle a 24-14 lead going into the fourth quarter. But he made the biggest mistake of his career on the final pass. The interception came two weeks after Wilson threw four picks in the NFC championship game only to rally Seattle to an overtime win over Green Bay.It definitely hurts, Wilson said. I hate the feeling that Im the one who lost it. I keep my head up, though. I know that I prepare and I get ready. I know I play my heart out.Wilson finished 12 of 21 for 247 yards and had two TD passes. He ran for 39 yards and was sacked three times. The third-year pro will hear criticism for his final pass throughout the off-season and longer.I hate losing, Wilson said. It was one play that he made a great play on.Seahawks coach Pete Carrolll and offensive co-ordinator Darrell Bevell tried to take the blame for making the call to pass the ball with 20 seconds left in the fourth quarter.dddddddddddde sent in our personnel and they sent in goal-line (defence); its not the right matchup for us to run the football, Carroll said. So on second down, we throw the ball really to kind of waste the play. If we score, we do. If we dont, then well run it on third and fourth down. We had three wide receivers, a tight end and one back in that situation. They had extra guys at the line of scrimmage so we dont waste a run play at that.Lynch powered his way to a 3-yard TD run in the first half and finished with 102 yards on 24 carries. Bevell said the clock was a factor, however. We wanted to use as much time as we could, Bevell said. I make the calls and I wish Carroll would tell me to do something different, but we communicate, we talk and I make all the calls.Lynch didnt speak to reporters, as usual. Many of his teammates supported the call, though All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner questioned it.Weve got Marshawn Lynch, one of the best running backs in the league, and everybody makes their decisions and unfortunately, we didnt give him the ball, Wagner said.___Online:AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and AP NFL Twitter feed: http://twitter.com/AP_NFL___Follow Rob Maaddi on Twitter: https://twitter.com/AP_RobMaaddi ' ' '
