MONTREAL -- Tennis Canada has decided the Canadian Fed Cup team will play its World Group II first-round tie against Serbia on an indoor hardcourt in Montreal. The court will be installed at the Claude-Robillard Sports Complex for the Feb. 8-9 matchup, Tennis Canada announced Thursday. "We are very excited to have the chance to play at home, on our choice of surface, and especially in front of our fans," Canadian Fed Cup team captain Sylvain Bruneau said in a release. "Over the past few years we have had to play on the road in conditions that were not favourable to us, so we want to make the most of our homecourt advantage for this tie." Montreal last hosted Fed Cup play in 2010 when Canada defeated Argentina on an indoor court at Uniprix Stadium. Tennis Canada said it chose the Claude-Robillard complex in order to host 4,000 spectators and create an electric atmosphere. Canada defeated Ukraine 3-2 in Kyiv last April to advance to the World Group II level for the first time since 2011. With a win over Serbia, Canada would move to play a World Group I playoff tie in April. Player nominations will be made in January. Nike Air Max Tn Cheap Uk . "Thats pretty impressive," Bruins coach Claude Julien said. "Theyve stayed focused, theyve stayed humble, theyve stayed determined. Im very proud of the way weve handled this month." Vincent Lecavalier scored twice for the Flyers, including the game-tying goal with 25 seconds left in regulation. Lecavaliers first goal was the 400th of his career. "I thought our team competed real hard," Flyers coach Craig Berube said. "They had an attitude today that they were going to show them something and I think they did. I know the outcome wasnt what we wanted, but we attacked and put a lot of pucks at the net." Andrej Meszaros and Zdeno Chara also scored, and Tuukka Rask made a career-high 49 saves for the Bruins. "They play their system to a T no matter what," Berube said. "They dont vary from it. Theyre a very competitive, heavy team."
